Aliya is 7 months old today!

My princepessa is 7 months old today on Christmas Eve. Poor little girl is teething again! Her top right tooth has popped through her gums and it looks like the left one is working its way down. She is in a grumpy stubborn phase right now but she is still a sweet angel. We are trying to work on sleeping through the night. Right now she goes to sleep between 8:30-9pm, she wakes up btw 12 and 1 for a feeding and then at 4, 5:28(its so weird, but it is always 5:28!), 7ish then she wakes up for the day at 8:30. I want to try and get her to sleep through the 4 and 5:28 feedings. So far, no go!

Aliya is very mobile right now. She is not crawling but she gets around by rolling and stretching. She has made it clear across the room before and now you can't keep her on a bed b/c she'll roll right off!

Aliya is getting very adamant about not having her face wiped or washed. She just absolutely hates it and refuses to have it done. She throws mini tantrums whenever I try. It is so hard because she has little eye crusties in the morning and after she eats her face is a mess but she'd rather be messy than have her face touched. She is the same way when you put a shirt on her that has to go over her head or when you attempt to put a bib on. She also does not want to eat any food. She purses her lips and turns her head when she sees the spoon coming. I finally found a food she doesn't hate, its formula mixed with rice cereal and mixed fruit.

Aliya loves to be out and about. She really enjoys people watching and flirting with strangers; she gets her fair share of attention too! Everyone melts when they see her, she is so charming. Aliya really likes to visit her family, Grandma,Grandpa, Nanimaa, Nanabapa, Adam Mama, Maa and Bapa love to see her and just play with her. She loves it because she really gets spoiled with them. They rock her to sleep and play with her for hours.

Aliya has come so far in the last 7 months! She is such a doll and I can't wait to see how the next few month goes. My sweet sweet baby, I love you, grumpy and all!
