My Girl

My heart feels as if it will burst out of my chest, it just can't contain itself when I see my little girl. She is radiant, her eyes gleam, her smile takes over her face and that laugh, its magical. As a through and through daddy’s girl I feel so lucky that the last two days she has shared herself with me. We rocked, played, laughed, and snuggled last night and for the first time in months when she woke up this morning she called for ‘mommy’. I just can’t get enough of her, even the tantrums and antics.

She answers the questions ‘What’s your name and how old are you’
She sits at the table without a booster seat
She brushes her own teeth every morning and washes her face
She speaks in full sentences using 6- 8 words
Her vocabulary has exploded and is over 1,500 words
Ali loves her baby brother and screams “Kaden crying! Kaden crying!” when he is.
She ran up to me yesterday hugged my knees and said “Mommy, I miss you” and told her teacher at school “I miss Daddy”
She is the love of our lives
