Lucky day

Sometimes no matter how hard you try your timing is just off. You catch every red light, you step into line just a second after someone else or you reach for the glass as its about to tumble over and miss it. This was not one of those days. We have never had better timing. Mom asked us to the zoo, and we jumped at the opportunity. After visiting the goats and monkeys and feeding birds we sat down to a great lunch overlooking the giraffes, elephants and zebras. Kaden sat content in the stroller and Ali went on a camel ride with mom and here is where I luck started. We were standing right by the employees walkie talkie warning the staff of the storm with red cells headed our way. We took the warning and started heading to the exit. We just barley made it to the car and got both kids in before it started pouring! They fell asleep in the car so we drove around and when Ali woke up we decided to go to Publix, the rain had let up just enough while we entered the store and it started to rain again. As soon as we checked out it stopped raining just long enough for us to get home. As we walked in the house a torrential downpour started again. I cant believe we missed the rain by seconds so many times. The kids stayed dry all day, well all except their diapers!
