Sick Baby

We have had a sick baby the last 4 days. Her fever was relentless and even though we had her on fever reducers it was still spiking to 103. The weird part was that she had no other symptoms, nothing. No cough, runny or stuffy nose, no rash, no diarrhea, no vomiting, nothing! So we had no idea what was wrong. The pediatrician ordered blood work which showed a low white blood count at 3.75 and high bands. Everything else was normal. So we can assume it was a viral infection. She is doing great now. No more fever! YAY! Her appetite is back and she is happy and playing! I love feeling her head and it is nice and cool instead of burning! It was a long 4 days and nights but I am happy to be on this side of the ordeal!
