Home, Safe, Home

It wasn’t as bad as I expected, probably because Rob did most of the work, but baby proofing is done! We rearranged all the furniture because someone likes to pull at the very unsteady bookshelf, which was just waiting to fall down . Now its tucked away and houses the computers and the very enticing computer cords, all out of reach. A baby gate stops baby from entering the kitchen, I didn’t want to even think about starting to baby proof in there, this was easier. Corner covers and outlet covers rounded out the baby proofing and not a moment to soon as little fingers were drawn like a moth to a flame into the small electrical holes.

  1. Alright, Aliya, there is no reason just because you can get around now you should gravitate toward the most dangerous things in the house! Really, the outlets, our germ covered shoes, chewing on wires? I hope this doesn't suggest things to come. As soon as you can walk, you'll be looking for stairs. As soon as you can talk, youre going to start talking to boys. When you can run, you'll start... well, you are our daughter, so running probably won't be that much in the picture. When you can drive, it'll be drag racing. Ugh... how do dads do it.
