I had the perfect mothers day, finally! I missed it in 2009 because Aliya wasn't born yet. The holiday beat her birth by a few days. In 2010 Grandma Spurlock went into the hospital so we didn't really celebrate it but this year Rob went all out. Kaden wasn't suppose to be here yet but since he was it was doubly special because I had my first mothers day with both my kids. Rob and Adam set up a brunch picnic in the park. We had blackberry tea, turkey sandwiches, eclairs, croissants, pastry, fruit and lots of other yummy things. We ate out by the water and a gator seemed interested in us. He was a gutsy guy and was not spooked by us at all, in fact he just kept getting closer. The park ranger came by when we were on the dock, so we all went up to talk to him and accidentally left Kaden behind, alone! He was almost gator bait! Poor little guy! Otherwise it was a perfect picnic. We went to the Jamati picnic in the afternoon. They had shish kabobs, snowcones, bouncy houses, water slides,and rassra. We had a really good time. It was a perfect mothers day! When looking at pics keep an eye out for gator in water behind us!
