I have so much to tell you all about. We bought a house! Aliya had some major firsts! Robs boards! Visit to Texas! So so much but I am out of town and need a little bit of time to catch up. Promise to update soon!

Happy 19th Birthday Adam!

To my baby brother on his 19th birthday; I remember bringing you home from the hospital when you were born with this fuzzy white stuffed lamb that played lullabies. You eyes were so little and squinty from all the chub in your cheeks. You were such a sweet child, loving, caring, kind and mature. 19 years have since past and I can't believe where the time has gone. I miss you looking for pokemon in the yard and playing with Ride and Kiwi. You are awesome and I am so proud of you. Happy Birthday and I hope all your birthday wishes come true.

We are buying a house!!!

Sure, its a little rough around the edges but we are going to buy our first house!! We have owned a townhouse and a condo but never our very own House! I am so excited. Ever since I first saw this house I have been calling it "our house", it wasn't fair to all the other houses we looked at, even though they were move in ready, they seemed pale in comparison to me, my heart had been stolen by this beat up home. It needs a lot of TLC but I know that in a few months it will be worth it. It has no floors, no kitchen , no light fixtures, no vanity in the bathroom, spray painted fireplace, leaky roof with a branch sticking out like a cork, terrible landscaping, a pool so filthy you can't see in with random things thrown into it like paint cans and 2x4s, and various other issues but still we love it and are so excited that tomorrow it will be ours.

It is NOT us!

Christy and Adam, our best most favorite friends in the world are having a sweet baby girl due in Aug. There is nothing more special or precious in this world than a baby girl. Your heart will grow 10 sizes just like the Grinch to try and contain all the love you will have for her and even still it will not be enough. Every morning you will wake up and look at her and still be puzzled how such a precious being came to be and how you are entrusted to care for her. Her sweet lips and toes will melt even the toughest parts of your soul and you will be hers forever. You are about to have the most incredible experience of your entire lives and we are so very happy and excited for you both. We love you.

Busch Gardens with Becca and Alastair

We went to Busch Gardens with Becca and Alastair. Highlights include a being highjacked by a couple for seats at the seseame street show, taking turns pushing around a heavy double stroller with the wheels locked, kids sleeping on the table at the Desert grill, and having fun.

Ali and Ali

We met up with Alastair and Becca today with big plans to go to planet jump but they were closed so we ended up at Chic-fil-a, they have a great indoor playplace and the babies (or should I sadly say kids) always have a good time together as do I with Bec. Our little monkey was a daredevil she started to climb up the inside of the slide and when the grade got to steep she would fall and slide down then start to giggle.

peaceful baby, dream til you wake. I have been known to drive around aimlessly to avoid waking this sleeping angel.

Shuttle Launch

Even across the state we can see the trail left behind from the shuttle. Rob (poor guy) was getting ready for work at 6 am when he went out and took these pictures. I hope the space program doesn't get shut down otherwise this may be one of the last launchs we will see in our lifetime.

Aliyas First Easter

We spent Easter at Aunt Danis place surrounded by family and friends. Rob was studying for part 3 of his boards so he missed out on the fun. There was tons of food and Ali pigged out on PawPaws bean chili. All the kids got together and decorated their bikes/scooters/golf carts or in Alis case stroller and had a parade through the neighborhood. Ali scored 2 Easter eggs in the Easter egg hunt and a basket filled with lots of goodies. She got a chocolate bunny about 6 inches tall that preceded to melt into a puddle by the time we made it home in this Florida sun and heat. Grandma made her a nice eater bag full of beautiful spring clothes and a football basket with sports eggs for Rob! Ali was handed around a lot and spent time with all her family. Those in attendance were Grandma and Uncle Sean, Great Grandma, Uncle Pinky and Aunt Teri, Jennifer, Darwin, Jessica, JoeJoe, Jacob, Kelly, Lawrence, Lauren, Uncle Larry, Jeremy, Aunt Verna, Uncle Mike, Vanessa, Aunt Dani, Uncle Frank, Aunt Timi, Uncle Gary, Aunt Pat, Uncle Toshi and their respective children and grandchildren.

Since Rob missed out on all the fun Ali and I hid his easter eggs from mom around the house for him to find.

I think Rob mistook Aliya for a football.

Preparing for Easter

Flower Pot
3 baskets strawberries tops cut off
1 pineapple sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/2 cantaloupe cut in wedges
1 bag grapes
parsley
skewers
flower pot- heavy one works better
flower foam
flower shaped cookie cutter
Place foam in pot

skewer fruit and place in a flower style arrangement
add parsley to bottom to finish look
use cookie cutter to make flower shape in pineapple and carve out a hole in center with melon baller; place grape half or melon ball in center and skewer in place

chocolate cupcake mix
white icing
green food coloring
shredded coconut
jellybeans
flower lollipops

Pretty self explanatory to make!

Grandma

We have seen Grandma 3 days in a row and we can't be happier! We met up with her on Friday for lunch at Red Lobster, then on Saturday she spent the whole day over babysitting her granddaughter then we wenrt to check out a house and have dinner at the Yacht Club and today we spent Easter together! We are so lucky. Love you mom!

Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens was nuts! We went on the wrong day, it was not only the grand opening of the new Seseame Street area but it was also spring break! The place was packed. We had fun despite all the people.
