Thanksgiving

Kadens first and it was perfect. The day was filled with food, family, friends and a fire.

Decorating the house

What you don't know is after we finally got all the lights up, Rob smelled burning plastic and we realized that one of the strands had a short and was burning a hole through the plug. Poor guy burned his finger on the melted plastic but saved our house from the inevitable fire looming. Needless to say the lights came down the next day.

Gaylord Palms

While Rob and I attended the seminar, maa and bapa watched Kaden. They brought him to the hotel every 4 hours to nurse. I am deeply thankful for them, Kaden however decided he was more interested in playing than eating half the time so we only had a few successful nursing sessions.

2 months 2-catch up on starting 2-day.

There is nothing worse than realizing you are over 2 months behind on updating the blog, especially when those months include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Martins, McLean's, Babvanis visiting, Moms Birthday, Kaden crawling, Aliya starting a new school, and Adam getting into Med School. It has been a very very busy couple of months. I have been living my life so fully that I have not had time to reflect on it and blog about it. I suppose that is a catch 22, with everything happening so fast, life is just moving and I am submerged in a world so filled with joy and fun, each moment is amazing, followed by another fantastic moment that two months have passed without me even realizing it. But that is the point, how can two full months pass so quickly? I only have a finite number of months with these kids and it kills me that 2 months are gone in a breath.
The kids are perfect. Kaden is crawling and eating us out of house and home. Aliya survives off of the air, eats nothing. They are such a wonderful pair, loving each other and so close. I am so proud of them both and so lucky to have them. Rob is the classic overachiever at work, I know, weird! He is doing amazing and going to be published in a book, and have more poster presentations and research coming up. Life is just going...
I will catch up, eventually. Expect to see lots of pictures soon (I have over 1400 from the last 2 months)
