Rob...? Is it really you...?
So the other night Project Runway was starting on tv. It is a reality show about fashion designers designing and making clothes. They are then judged on their work and one designer gets kicked off the show. Its so fun to watch. Well it just so happened that a preseason football game was on the same night. You would think Rob would want to watch football and I offered to watch with him but he wanted to watch project runway instead!! How funny is that??!
Our 5th Anniversary
Rob and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on July 10th. It shocks me that we have been married so long! We had an amazing wedding and the last 5 years have been busy! Recap of our last 5 years:

Aliya has her very own set of Levis 501 jeans with matching jacket, courtesy of Christy and Adam Wiarda! (Thanks!) She looks adorable! Now to find things to put in all 5 of her pockets!

Fashion Show
Aliya and I went to the mall. I found some cute things for her to try on. We had so much fun! She is such a sport trying everything on! I think the glasses are the best! She looks so mod! Rob loves the daisy headband but the creme de la creme is the pumpkin beret!
Scooting
This morning I laid Aliya in her baby gym. I went to do a few things around the house and when I came back 5 minutes later she had scooted her self right out of it! I don't know where she was headed but I'm sure if I left her alone she would have been clean across the room!

Remembering Aliyas Birthday
Aliya was born May 24th. We got some great pictures from Aliya's Grandma. I can't believe it has almost been 3 months! Aliya has grown so much since then! FYI these pictures were taken at 3 am after 21 hours of labor so don't be to hard on us! It was a very long day!

Aliya's new favorite toy!
Aliya got this awesome toy from the Smallwood Family. She loves it. It is the first toy she has reached out for and put in her mouth! It is perfect for her little hands. Plus today was the first day she rode in her stroller without the car seat attachment. She was so comfy and loved looking around. She helped me shop, she has great taste!

Swimming underwater with my new camera
I went swimming by myself the other day. I got such a great workout and Rob got some great quality time with Aliya! I used my new fun waterproof camera and took some underwater pictures of myself. I know they are goofy but I had so much fun and I am so impressed with my camera! I wanted to try it out!

Pool!!!
Aliya went in the pool for the first time today! The apartment we are living in has a pool right by our place and today we decided to try it out! The water was so warm, she didn't even wince going in or cry coming out because the water was the same temp as the air outside, around 90 degrees! Perfect for a baby's first swim! She did awesome. She never smiled but she also never cried! We kept it short and sweet and had a terrific time! I can't wait to get her back into the water! She is going to be my little fish! P.S. We used our new camera; a Christmas gift from mom! Thanks, mom! It is waterproof and can take pictures and video underwater!!!! It is also freeze and shock proof! A perfect camera with little hands around! I love it! It takes great pictures, don't you think?!
Aunt Debs Birthday!
We all went to Pepin's for Debs birthday. Aliya loves to see her family. She was definitely grandmas girl that night! We had a great dinner and whats a birthday without the customary raspberry elegance cake. We had a great time and I know Aliya hopes all her Aunt Debs Birthday wishes come true!
Deland
Last week we were home in Deland. I love being home. Mom cooks. Dad depresses me with talk about the economy and then Adam cheers me up by being so care free. We always have fun at home! Aliya slept with Adam one morning and she took up so much of the bed! Adam couldn't believe it! By the time he woke up he was half off the bed, Aliya had taken over! Dad started to teach Aliya geometry, they were reviewing angles of a triangle!

Aliya's Great Masis (Aunts)
My Masis (Aunts - Moms sisters) came to visit from Canada. They had so much fun with Aliya! Aliya got so many baby massages and baths from Zarina Masi (below and right pic)! She loved to sit and talk with Roshan Masi (left pic) every morning. Aliya is now babbling away! I love to hear her tell me all about her day. I can't wait till I can actually understand it.
