Trained
Trained! She potty trained in 9 hours! Nine! Noo! Nueve! Neuf! Nove! Neun! Negen! As always she impressed me. We just decided it was time, went and bought some panties and that was that. She still wears pull ups at night, I thought I'd transition her out when she is in a bed and not a crib so she can use the potty at night if she needs it. Most days she does amazing and makes it though til bedtime without an accident but some days she is lazy and we go through 5 wardrobe changes. In the beginning pooping in the potty was a challenge, she held it until she made herself sick with constipation. Finally we had a breakthrough. I have recently found I can get her to do just about anything for a piece of candy. "I'm going to poop on the potty and get candy!" She tells everyone and she has been doing it ever since. Not a bad trade for 1 jellybean. Unless she is at her Nana or Nanimaas and then she gets a lollipop, her favorite. I am so proud of my big girl.

Photo dump
When days turn into weeks and weeks turn to months the only way to catch up on such a daunting task, as keeping this blog, is to do a photodump. Words want to pour out of me to describe the events surrounding these pictures, each one sparks an emotion. Watching my children with their grandparents, gaining so much knowledge, smothered with love and attention gives me such a sense of satisfaction and gratitude. A novel filled with all the right words would still be lacking to express how much I love my children, husband and family.
